
The Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in Wisconsin is ready to break ground on a new casino resort. The 77,000 square-foot Legendary Waters Resort and Casino at Red Cliff will feature 300 slot machines, a restaurant and a 50-room hotel. Construction is expected to wrap up in August 2011. "This project will create additional employment on the reservation — needed employment," Chairwoman Rose Soulier said at the ground-breaking ceremony, The Bayfield County Journal reported.
