The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has eliminated two percent of its casino workforce.
Press secretary Nancy Conrad said 40 to 60 people were laid off. The employees came from the Spa Resort Casino and the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa.
Conrad would not give a reason for the cuts.
