The first ever New England Gaming Summit begins today in Connecticut.
The Mohegan Tribe is
hosting the event at Mohegan Sun .
CEO Mitchell Etess is scheduled to give a keynote tomorrow, a week after announcing layoffs at the casino.
“I’m going to focus on the changes in New England," Etess told The Norwich Bulletin. “Heaven knows there’s been enough of them. "
Rodney Butler, the chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal
Nation, also will deliver a keynote.
