The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will host a press conference this afternoon amid reports of casino layoffs.
The New London Day and The Norwich Bulletin said hundreds were laid off at the Mohegan Sun casino. It's the first round of layoffs the tribe has made despite taking a hit during the economic recession.
Mohegan Sun CEO Mitchell Etess will speak at a press conference at 2pm.
