The Passamaquoddy Tribe at
Indian Township in Maine said it's new Class II facility is paying off.
The tribe opened the facility, which offers bingo games and 50 electronic gaming machines, last month. The high-stakes games have been drawing in a steady and growing group of players.
“It is going pretty good,” Gov. William Nicholas told The Bangor Daily News. “Our numbers have steadily increased since we opened in July.”
The largest payout to date is $12,500, the paper said.
