The Bureau of Indian Affairs has approved the Class III gaming compact between the Seminole Tribe and the state of Florida.
The deal authorizes blackjack and card games at five tribal casinos. Slot machines are allowed at all seven of the tribe's gaming facilities.
The tribe will share an estimated $1 billion with the state over the next five years. The revenue-sharing rate will decrease if lawmakers expand non-Indian gaming after five years.
