Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland (D) isn't interested in discussing a casino with the Delaware Tribe of Oklahoma, a spokesperson said.
Voters have already approved four casinos in the state. But Strickland won't entertain any offers from the tribe.
"The governor is opposed to further expanding casino gambling at this time, so he wouldn't be interested in entering into a compact with the tribe," spokesperson Amanda Wurst told The Columbus Dispatch.
The paper said two investors are trying to get the tribe interested in a casino outside of Columbus.
