The Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma is paying for the construction of wetlands at the Downstream Casino Resort.
Work is expected to cost between $65,000 to $70,000. “It’s really got a lot of potential,” said Doug Blex of the Spring River Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy group, The Joplin Globe reported. “The Quapaw Tribe has stepped up to the plate. They’ve got a substantial investment in this.”
The casino is located in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. The gaming portion is in Oklahoma.
