The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal
Nation of Connecticut would no longer have a majority stake in the proposed
Foxwoods Casino
Philadelphia, according to documents filed with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Wednesday.
The tribe was going to lead the project but faces economic difficulties back home.
Gaming mogul Steve
Wynn entered the picture last month with plans to finance and operate a $600 million casino in South Philadelphia.
Details of the new direction weren't released by the tribe, Wynn or the gaming board. Additional information, including detailed renderings of the casino, is due April 26.
