Prosecutors in Florida won't file charges in connection with an alleged sexual assault at a casino owned by the Seminole Tribe.
Prosecutors cited a lack of medical evidence and cited inconsistent information in their decision not to charge football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin with rape. He had been accused of assaulting a woman at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in July 2007.
The woman reported the incident to tribal police but a tribal spokesperson said she signed a "waiver of prosecution." The spokesperson previously told The Miami Herald that the woman wanted to put the incident behind her.
The woman has filed a $100 million civil suit against Irvin in state court.
