Leaders in Middleboro, Massachusetts, wants to know if the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe plan to build a casino in the town.
The tribe signed a deal to host the casino in the town. But tribal leaders have met with officials in at least one other city to discuss potential gaming sites.
The tribe filed a land-into-trust application for 539 acres in Middleboro and believes the Bureau of Indian Affairs will release the final environmental impact statement soon.
