The Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona broke ground on an $80 million expansion of the Casino del Sol near Tucson.
The tribe is adding a convention center, a 215-room hotel, a restaurant, a buffet and a spa to the facility. The expansion is expected to open in fall 2011.
The tribe originally planned to break ground in October 2008 but took another look at the project due to the economic recession.
