The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota is holding a grand opening on Friday to christen its new casino.
The tribe spent $21 million on the Seven Clans Casino, Hotel and Conference Center. The 70,000 square-foot facility had a soft opening right before Christmas.
“The feeling in the community is one of pride. It meets a lot of needs,” Chairman Floyd Jourdain Jr. told Finance & Commerce. “It is the nicest little casino I have ever seen.”
The casino features a 300 slot machines, a 40-room hotel a 75-seat restaurant and a conference center.
