Members of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York will go to the polls next week to consider an off-reservation casino.
In November, tribal members rejected the idea. But the tribe scheduled another vote because due to lack of public notice about the referendum.
Tribal leaders wants to open a casino in the Catskills, about 300 miles from the reservation. The gaming site is about 90 minutes north of New York City.
