Report looks favorably on Mohegan gaming finances

A report from Wells Fargo Securities says the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut operates the "top gaming resort" in the East Coast.

Mohegan Sun has reported a drop in slot machine revenues over the past two years. But the report says the tribe's finances remain strong despite the economy.

“We just did a bond deal in October," Jeffrey E. Hartmann, the chief operating officer for the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, told The Norwich Bulletin. "We raised $200 million in this economic environment. Not too many companies can do that.”
