"Something needs to be done relative to the Indian casinos as it relates to their slot machine operations.
Everyone knows these are games of chance, but they shouldn’t be games of no chance. The state officials who allowed the tribes to operate these machines without disclosure of minimum returns should be fired and the tribes should wake up.
The Cherokee tribal official who previously stated that the tribe could not disclose minimum returns on their machines because of competition concerns is either a fool or thinks everyone else is a fool.
All tribes should be required to provide a stated minimum return on their machines (the same for each tribe) and disclose such to the public. If they want to provide higher than required returns, as some casinos in Las Vegas and the rest of the world do, then that would be great advertising."
