Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes reported another drop in slot machine revenues though one fared better than the other.
Slot revenues at Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at
Foxwoods, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal
Nation, were down 1.4 percent last month. At Mohegan Sun, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, revenues were down 10.8 percent.
The figures came as the Pequots are expected to default on a $500 million loan. The tribe was only able to pay $14.2 million on a $21.25 million interest payment.
