The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut will lay off as many as 67 gaming employees by the end of the week.
The cuts will affect people at Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods. They represent about 1 percent of the total gaming workforce.
Since October 2008, the tribe has cut about 2,000 jobs, about 18 percent of the workforce.
