NIGC's Hogen, Rep. Cole at gaming conference

National Indian Gaming Commission Chairman Phil Hogen and Rep. Tom Cole (R-Oklahoma), the only Native American in Congress, are scheduled to appear at the North American Gaming Regulators Association Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

Hogen will talk about the state of Indian gaming. He's also due to release tribal casino revenues for 2008.

Cole, a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, will deliver the keynote. He has opposed a number of Hogen's efforts to restrict Class II gaming.

The conference takes place all week at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel.
