ATM supplier accused of theft from First Nations casinos

An ATM supplier faces a civil lawsuit and criminal charges in connection with the alleged theft of $1.2 million from First Nations casinos in Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority says the ATM supplier failed to deposit the money into a bank account. The ATMs were operating at two First Nations casinos.

SIGA ended its contract with the company after discovering the loss. Police in Saskatoon are investigating the incident.
