Still no deal on compact for Seminole Tribe

The Florida Legislature has yet to reach a deal for a Class III gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe but lawmakers won't adjourn on Friday as scheduled.

The House wants to limit the tribe to slot machines. The Senate wants the tribe to keep offering slot machines and table games but also wants to expand non-Indian gaming.

Lawmakers are expected to continue working on the compact and the state budget until Thursday or Friday of next week.
