The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is apparently dropping out of a casino project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The tribe has been a partner in Foxwoods Casino Philadelphia but the project has been stalled for several years. Now an attorney says a new gaming company will be brought in to replace the tribe, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
The tribe hasn't been a majority investor in the project but lent the Foxwoods name for the casino, to be located in south Philadelphia.
