The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians of California is hosting the Ante Up for Africa poker tournament and will donate $500,000 to help people in Darfur, a war-torn region of Sudan.
The tournament takes place at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino on October 29. The tribe hosted the event last year and also donated $500,000 to the cause.
The prize for winning the tournament is $50,000.
