The American Lung Association
of Oregon has dropped an effort to force tribal casinos to ban smoking.
An attorney wrote Gov. Ted Kulongoski (D) on behalf of the group last month to push for the ban.
But the group says it won't be represented by John DiLorenzo.
DiLorenzo's law firm represents the Oregon Restaurant
Association, whose members are subject to the indoor smoking ban.
The law went into effect on June 1.
