The Chickasaw Nation is set to take over a racetrack in Oklahoma.
The tribe's bid of $80.25 million for Remington Park was accepted today, The Ada Evening News reported. The tribe bought the facility from Magna Entertainment Corp. through bankruptcy proceedings.
The tribe has to gain approval from the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission to operate the track. The facility also offers electronic gaming machines.
