The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut and a labor union will enter arbitration proceedings after failing to reach a bargaining agreement.
The tribe and UAW at Foxwoods was negotiating under tribal law. Sources told The New London Day that they weren't able to agree on key issues, such as tips for card dealers.
The union represents about 4,000 card dealers at Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
