The United Auburn Indian Community of California announced the hiring of four top executives at the Thunder Valley Casino.
Yvonne Mao will serve as vice president of finance. C.J. Graham was named vice president of casino operations. Tina Rogo is the new executive director of marketing. Kevin Thorstenson is serving as vice president of hotel operations.
"As we begin to develop the resort, with the hotel, the expanded gaming area and the entertainment, these are people with experience in these areas," spokesperson Doug Elmets told The Sacramento Bee.
The tribe fired some of its top casino executives earlier this year amid a decline in gaming revenues. The tribe cut 5 percent of jobs at the casino and has scaled back an expansion project.
Station Casinos filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week but the unit that manages Thunder Valley is not covered by the filing.
