The first New England Gaming Summit will take place September 13-14, 2010, at the Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut.
The summit will be produced by Spectrum Gaming Group and BNP Media. The two groups put on the East Coast Gaming Congress in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and the Florida Gaming Summit. BNP also produces the New York Gaming Summit.
“We always believe in the philosophy you can learn something new every day,” Chuck Bunnell, the chief of staff for the Mohegan Tribe, told The Norwich Bulletin. “We believe that we are a role model in how a tribe or business entity can integrate itself in a community.”
