Officials in Riverside County, California, are asking the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians to make a presentation about its proposed casino.
The tribe wants 535 acres placed in trust. Plans call to move the existing Soboba Casino to the new site.
The county hopes to hear from the tribe on September 1. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is taking public comments on a draft environmental impact statement for the casino until September 15.
