Cow Creek Band to hire casino workers after layoffs

After letting go of 51 employees in January, the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians is hiring at the Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort in Oregon. The tribe is looking for 18 employees. "It could be someone who was let go because of the constraints earlier this year or it could be someone new that has moved into the community," spokesperson Susan Ferris told The Roseburg News-Review. The tribe will debut a new wing of the hotel next month as part of a $40 million expansion. Get the Story:
