Judge Sonia
Sotomayor, President Barack Obama's nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, won $8,283 at a casino in Florida last November, according to her financial disclosure form.
The White House would not say how Sotomayor won the money or where she gambled. According to the form, she went to the casino with her 81-year-old mother.
The Seminole Tribe and the Miccosukee Tribe operate several casinos in Florida. Some non-Indian racetracks offer slot machines.
