Organizers of a benefit in Arizona canceled an upcoming event after the Quechan Nation raised concerns about the impact on the tribe's casino.
Sunset On The Bridge required closing the Ocean to Ocean Bridge for several hours on April 25. The tribe was concerned doing so would hurt business at the Quechan Paradise Casino.
The northern part of the bridge is on the reservation so the tribe's approval was needed for the event. The bridge brings customers from Fort Yuma to the facility.
