The Florida Senate voted 27-11 on Thursday in favor of a Class III gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe.
The deal authorizes slot machines and table games. It calls for the tribe to share an estimated $400 million a year in revenues with the state.
The state House is considering its own version of the compact today. It limits the tribe to slot machines.
The tribe has continued to offer slot machines and table games under a federally-approved gaming compact.
