Thousands of people attended the grand opening of the new Muscogee (Creek)
Nation casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Tuesday.
The 300,000 square-foot River Spirit Casino filled up quickly after Chief A.D. Ellis opened the doors at 10am. "It's over now; all they have to do is play," Ellis told The Tulsa World.
The large crowd caused a huge traffic jam but executives felt the opening went smoothly. A 1,300-space parking garage will open in August.
