The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut will submit a bid today to operate a casino in Kansas.
Foxwoods Development
Co. wants to operate a state-owned casino in Sumner County. The tribe has options on 164 acres there.
The tribe submitted a bid last year for the casino with MGM Mirage and the Iowa Tribe. This time, the tribe is proposing to be the sole operator.
