The Chickasaw Nation has expanded what is already the largest casino in Oklahoma, a site just a few miles away from the Texas border.
The WinStar World Casino now features more than 500,000 square-feet of gaming, dining, meeting and entertainment space. A 400-room hotel opens this fall.
"The goal of becoming a destination has been a vision of our tribe from the beginning," senior marketing director Brian Zanazanian told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
As part of the expansion, the casino adopted a "world" theme to pay tribute to some of the greatest cities in the word.
