Coyote Valley casino expansion on hold

After spending more than $12 million on the project, the Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians of California has put a $50 million casino expansion on hold. The tribe is waiting for the economy to improve, The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reported. But even if investors come through with the money in a few months, the expansion of the Coyote Valley Shodakai Casino might be scaled back. "We remain hopeful," Chairman John Feliz Jr. told the paper. The casino is one of nine in the area. Get the Story:
