The president of the Seneca Nation of New York is facing criticism from the tribe's gaming corporation.
Up until Friday, Barry E. Snyder Sr. served as chairman of the board for Seneca Gaming
Corp.. His replacement, Cochise Redeye, says he should be removed from the board for trying to usurp the corporation's authority.
Redeye said Snyder's actions are hurting the tribe's gaming enterprise and have created investor stability. He said the value of the Seneca Gaming's notes dropped seven percent after The Buffalo News published stories about the clash between Snyder and the corporation.
Snyder called for an investigation after the newspaper reported on an internal tribal audit.
