The board of supervisors in Yuba
County, California, plans to revise a letter regarding the effects of the proposed Enterprise Rancheria
casino.
The board voted 4-0 earlier this week to tell the BIA that the casino won't have a detrimental effect on the community. But the letter will be revised to say the casino might case some problems, board chairman John Nicoletti said.
The letter says the casino will create 1,933 permanent jobs, 1,300 temporary jobs and "additional spin off jobs." It estimates $32 million a year in payroll and benefits for employees.
