Indians laid off 63 more workers, just two months after eliminating 570 casino jobs.
The layoffs affect employees at the Silver Star Hotel and Casino and the newer Golden Moon Hotel and Casino.
"We're in a depression, so we have to do what we have to do," Warren Strain, a spokesperson for Pearl River Resort, told The Meridian Star.
The tribe already reduced operations at Golden Moon in response to the recession.
