The Little River Band of Ottawa
Indians has local support for a liquor license at a proposed off-reservation casino in Muskegon, Michigan.
The board in Fruitport Township approved the transfer of the license from a former racetrack to the tribe. A final decision will be made by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
The tribe plans to convert the racetrack into a Class III facility.
