The United Auburn Indian Community of California will resume work on a hotel at its casino.
The tribe halted construction at the Thunder Valley Casino amid the downturn in the economy. Work will start up in mid-April but the project has been scaled back.
Instead of a 23-story hotel, it will rise 15 stories. A 700-seat showroom will replace a performing arts center.
