Agua Caliente Band to debut $76M casino arena

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians of California will debut a $76 million performance arena at one of its casinos this week. With just 2,001 seats, The Show at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage is an intimate venue. But some of the biggest names in music have already sold out concerns there. “This will be a true showroom in every sense of the word,'' Phil Cooper, the tribe's marketing director, told The Palm Springs Desert Sun. The venue will open with a performance by Billy Joel on Thursday. Get the Story:
