An unidentified tribe wants to build a casino in Sturgis, South Dakota, WWMT News reports.
Gaming company Vanguard Entertainment isn't naming the tribe because the project is in the early stages. "The tribe itself is doing ongoing due diligence, and they're getting ready to complete that," attorney John Dresser was quoted as saying.
The casino would be located on 200 acres in a town known for its controversial biker rally. Tribes have complained about bars and venues that encroach on sacred Bear Butte.
