Opponents of the Seneca Nation will go back to court to fight federal approval of the tribe's off-reservation casino in Buffalo, New York.
Citizens Against Casino Gambling in Erie County says the tribe cannot operate the Buffalo
Creek Casino because the land does not qualify for gaming. The land was acquired after 1988, a deadline in the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.
But the National Indian Gaming Commission said new IGRA regulations that were finalized last year support the tribe. The agency approved a gaming ordinance for the casino on Tuesday, the last day of the Bush administration.
