Tribes in southern California have eliminated over 500 jobs at their casinos since last summer and more cuts are on the way.
The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians laid off 400 people, the most of any tribe. The Morongo Band of Mission Indians has eliminated 95 jobs.
The Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians laid off 55 people. The Pauma-Yuima Band of Mission Indians is expecting to make cuts in the coming months.
