The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatom Indians of Michigan will open a casino in August.
The tribe plans to hire 1,500 people for the FireKeepers Casino. Applications are being accepted online starting on January 22.
"We've always been behind other tribes in the state," Chairwoman Laura Spurr told The Detroit News. "This opening not only helps us, but especially the economy of the state."
