The economy will be high on the agenda at the 14th annual Western Indian
Gaming Conference this week.
California Nations Indian Gaming
Association initially thought about focusing on energy policy, a spokesperson said. But the nation's economic woes are taking precedence.
"That will be an overall theme," spokesperson Susan Jensen told The Riverside Press-Enterprise.
The conference takes place in Palm Springs.
