Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes saw big year-to-year drops in revenues at their casinos in December.
Slot machine revenues at Mohegan Sun, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, fell 6.8 percent. At Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, slot revenues fell 19.3 percent.
Both tribes saw declines nearly every month in the last 12 months. Executives attribute the drops to the downturn in the national economy.
