Arizona tribes report another drop in revenues

Gaming revenues at Arizona's tribal casinos fell 9.8 percent in the last three months, the state Gaming Department said in a new report.

The drop was the largest seen since the tribes signed their Class III gaming compacts in 2003. It's also the third quarter in a row that tribes have reported declines in revenues.

"We're still making money, it's just not as much as it was last year," Sheila Morago, the executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association, told The Arizona Daily Star.
